Setting MIDI Options |
|
In the MIDI Options tab of the Recognition Settings dialog you can set various parameters of the output MIDI file.
The only important setting affecting recognition is Determine Key Automatically. If this is on, WIDI attempts to autodetect tonality of the piece. It can affect recognition results if Use Determined Key is on in Equalizer.
Tempo parameter does affect default barline placement, because if no bars are set manually, MIDI file will be written with uniformly placed bars, corresponding to the selected tempo.
All other parameter do not affect recognition result, they only affect MIDI file properties.
