WIDI Audio To MIDI VST pluginis designed for real-time Audio to MIDI transcription. Use it to control any MIDI instrument with live "analog" instrument or to transcribe pre-recorded audio tracks.
The plugin receives input from an audio channel and performs real-time music recognition. Resulting MIDI events can be sent to the VST host, system MIDI Out Device or saved as a MIDI file with a simple MIDI recorder. The spectrum window displays streaming spectrogram in real-time with recognized notes above it. Also, the plugin recognizes chords and displays chord name at the top of the spectrogram window. It is possible to control the delay of chord indication. Adjustable recognition parameters allow improving recognition quality.
With WIDI Audio To MIDI VST you can transcribe pre-recorded audio tracks as well. Tweaking recognition parameters takes effect instantly, allowing to enhance transcription accuracy on the fly.
Most of VST-enabled sequencers (VST Hosts) for Microsoft Windows and macOS are supported. Both 32bit and 64bit versions are included.
You need to have some VST Host to run this plugin. See WIDI Recognition System if you need a standalone application.
Trial version allows evaluation of all plugin operating modes, but recognition process interrupts each 15 seconds and spectrogram window displays "Evaluation" message instead of the actual spectrogram during this period.
