Scroll to Start - Scrolls all piece to the start.

First Selected Note - Displays first selected note in the Editing Area.

Last Selected Note - Displays last selected note in the Editing Area.

Scroll to End - Scrolls all piece to the end.

Select - Brings up the Note Filter dialog.

Add to Selection Mode - If pressed, newly selected notes are appended to already selected ones. Otherwise  newly selected notes replace previous selection.
