Time is note onset time from the beginning of the piece, measured in seconds. Key is the pitch of the note. WIDI works in enharmonic scale, use corresponding sharp keys instead of flat ones (for example, use "C#" for "Db"). Note: WIDI octave number corresponds to MIDI octave number minus 2. Velocity is MIDI velocity (volume) of corresponding note. Channel is MIDI channel that is used to play back this note. Note: Only one music instrument can be assigned to one channel at a given moment, and simultaneous notes played by different instruments on the same channel may lead to undesirable results. 10th channel is usually treated as percussion channel. Dur. is note duration in seconds. Track is a track number. Tracks are usually used for grouping different parts and do not affect actual sounding. MIDI Instrument is an instrument that is used to play back the note.
When opening Note Properties for selected group of notes, some values may occur blank. This means that this value is not the same for different notes in the group. If you choose a particular value, it will be set identical for all selected notes. This is often used to change track or instrument for a group of notes. |
