Here is a full list of TrueTone Editor menu commands:
Edit Cut – Cut selected notes Copy – Copy selected notes to buffer Paste – Paste buffer contents to the left window edge ------------------ Undo – Cancel last action. The number of actions that can be undone is unlimited Redo – Repeat a canceled action ------------------ Arrange -> Align Onsets Left – Align selected note onsets by moving notes backward Align Ends – Align selected note end by increasing their durations without changing onset positions ------------------ Delete – Delete the selected notes Mute or Unmute – Mute or give sound to the selected notes ------------------ Quantize... – Invoke Quantization dialog Transpose... – Transpose selected notes Velocity... – Open Change Velocity dialog ------------------ Note Properties – Bring up the Note Properties dialog for the selected notes New Note Properties... – Bring up the Default Note Properties dialog ------------------ Insert Default Bars - Put bars using default tempo (see MIDI File Properties) Remove All Barlines - Remove all bar lines
View Time Ruler - Display or hide Time Ruler Note Map – Display or hide Note Map Track Editor – Display or hide Track Editor Tips - Display or hide Tips window Staff - Display or hide Score Viewer ------------------ Show Bar Grid – Show or hide bars in the Editing Area Bars on Time Ruler – Display bar numbers on Timeline ------------------ Spectral Background - Show or hide spectral background in the editing area 3D Background - Switches spectral background to anaglyph 3D-view ------------------ Additional Note Info - Display note name and velocity bar in front of every note Cursor Ruler - Shows ruler cross attached to the cursor ------------------ Make All Notes Visible – Make all hidden notes visible ------------------ Composition Analysis - Invokes Composition Analysis dialog ------------------ Zoom In – Increase the zoom of the editing area in all directions Zoom Out - Decrease the zoom of the editing area in all directions Default Zoom - Set default zoom for the editing area
Tools Edit Tool – Use this tool to select and edit existing notes Delete Tool – Use this tool to clean up erroneous notes New Note Tool – Use it to write new notes Play Tool - This tool allows to play notes by moving vertical cursor above them ------------------ Tapping Tool... – Bring up the Tapping Tool for arrangement of bar lines ------------------ Glue Note Mode – Enable notes gluing. In this mode overlapping notes are merged on move
Selection Select... – Bring up the Note Filter dialog in Selection mode Add to Selection... - Bring up the Note Filter dialog in Add to Selection mode Narrow Selection... - Bring up the Note Filter dialog in Remove from Selection mode ------------------ View First Selected Note - Display first selected note View Last Selected Note - Display last selected note ------------------ Add to Selection Mode – Add newly selected notes to current selection (equivalent to the Shift key) ------------------ Select All – Select all notes in musical piece Invert Selection – Invert current selection Select None – Remove all notes from the selection
