Using WIDI VST as a Direct X plugin

Some Windows audio production applications support Direct X plugins only. However, you may still use WIDI VST Plugin with them using VST-to-Direct X adapters.

VST-to-Direct X adapters are software pieces that enable VST plugins to work with Direct X hosts.
Here are some of them:
·Cakewalk VST Adapter from Twelve Tone Systems (www.cakewalk.com)
·DirectiXer software from ToneWise (www.tonewise.com)
·Spin Audio's VST DX Wrapper Pro from SpinAudio Software (www.spinaudio.com)

In some cases, you should identify WIDI VST Plugin as a "VST Instrument" to allow MIDI messages to be sent to the host application.
