Plogue Bidule is a new host that supports AU and VST modules with nice visual routing capabilities from Plogue Art et Technologie (www.plogue.com).
Step-by-step instructions:
1. Start Plogue Bidule.
2. Add Audio Player by clicking right mouse button on the workspace and choosing "Audio File"->"Player"->"2 channels".
3. Choose context menu item "AU Effects"->"WIDI"->"Audio To MIDI AU"->"Audio To MIDI AU 1 to 1" or "Audio To MIDI AU 2 to 2". WIDI AU will appear on the workspace. Double click on it to show WIDI AU interface. 4. In the WIDI AU window choose the option page, turn on midi to midi out option and select IAC Driver Bus as output.
5.By choosing "MIDI Devices"->"Output"->"IAC BUS 1" add IAC BUS 1 Apple Computer Inc Driver (in) to the workspace.
6. Add any MIDI receiver to the workspace. It can be a MIDI file, MIDI out driver or any other MIDI out device. 7. Connect Audio File Player output channel (right or left channel, or both) to the Audio To MIDI AU input channel by dragging the connector. In the same way connect IAC Bus output with the MIDI out device. Also connect Audio To MIDI AU output channel with Mixer:
6. Double-click on the Audio File Player and load audio file you are going to recognize.

Starting playback automatically starts the recognition process.
You may also need to tune Recognition Parameters to achieve the best results.

Note: In this instruction it is supposed that Apple IAC Driver is activated on your system. If it is not true, refer to routing MIDI on how to activate it.
