Tapping
The Tapping dialog lets you arrange bar-lines by ear.
The Tapping Dialog is brought up by clicking on the Tapping button on the Misc Tool Panel or by selecting the menu item "Tool->Tapping Tool".

Playback
Speed – Controls the speed of playback.

Start - Launches play.
Stop - Stops play.

The arrangement of bar-lines is accomplished with the aid of any key (except some special keys such as Tab or Enter), or with the corresponding button in the centre of the dialog.

Latency... - Launches Playback tab of General Options that controls the latency time.
Show Position - Enables the play position indicator. This setting should not be used on slow computers.

You can read about arranging bar-lines in more detail in the section entitled Bar-Lines.
