See Setting Recognition Parameters for general recommendations on algorithm selection and parameter setup.
Minimal Note Duration - this parameter can help to discard short wrong notes from the resulting MIDI file. The algorithm simply deletes all notes shorter than this value. Appropriate value depends on the music genre; generally it lies in the range of 20..150 ms.
Minimal Note Velocity sets minimal velocity for notes. All quieter notes will be filtered out.
Maximal Polyphony selects the number of voices it the output file. This parameter is treated differently by the two second-step algorithms, so there are separate controls for each of them. This parameter let you control the number of voices it the output file.
Separate Tracks by Volume - if this box is checked, all simultaneous notes are divided by volume among several tracks. Otherwise, all notes are written to the same track.
Velocity Range - this control allows to emphasize or smooth volume nuances in recognition results. Moving slider to the right increases velocity difference between loud and silent notes, moving it to the left decreases the difference.
