See Setting Recognition Parameters for general recommendations on algorithm selection and parameter setup.
Try to autodetect Global Tuning setting controls whether WIDI will try to detect systematic instrument detuning, figuring out if all note pitches are above or below standard scale. If it is detected (tuning quality is at least at the "poor" level), the value will be taken by Note Detection algorithm for setting reference scale frequencies. Detected value is displayed in Composition Analysis dialog.
Autodetect Global Tuning even if algorithm ignores it is applicable only to Advanced Sensors algorithm with Local Tuning turned on, because in this case Global Tuning value is not used for improving recognition result. If the value is detected, it is shown in Composition Analysis.
Manual tuning value is used for recognition if tuning is not detected automatically or if automated detection failed.
